![]() As you could imagine the words "full day" quite literally mean a full day of wedding photography. This typically can start as early as 7:00am when the bridal party is being prepared in your home or at the salon. Typically I will photograph a reception anywhere from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am, it is dependent upon what the Bride and Groom want. The idea behind the Gold Package is to create and capture memorable moments from your entire wedding day. Quite frankly, this is an extremely important aspect when hiring any photographer. Digital negatives essentially are the full resolution photographs without any watermarks. I provide the digital negatives to my clients in full resolution on DVD. Furthermore, I provide my clients with the digital copyright to their photographs which provides you the flexibility to do anything you want with your picture. Photographers that will not provide you with digital copyright to your images do so to force clients to purchase re-prints through the photographer for extremely high and unreasonable amounts. Needless to say I have created client friendly policies. My retainer fee required to book your wedding is 30% of the total package price. The security deposit is ensure your day is booked by me since I will often get numerous requests for the same day. Some photographers charge as high as a 50% deposit to book a wedding. I do not limit myself in any means by how many photographs I will take over the course of the day. A typical gold package wedding can expect anywhere from 1000 to 2000 pictures to be taken. I take a lot of pictures of each given pose in order to ensure that you will have the right look. Facial expressions can change drastically over the course of two seconds. On average 25% of the photos taken will be provided to the client on DVD. Firstly, I am a full-time photographer. That being said your photographs will start being worked on the monday right after your wedding day. Typically I normally have your DVD prepared within 1-2 weeks although it may take as long as 4-6 weeks depending on how many wedding bookings I have during the season your wedding is in. My turn around times are very fast since this is my full-time living and I dedicate myself towards my clients. I explain this in detail with all my clients during my initial consultation and it is very important. Not all photographers use the same equipment and for that matter some photographers use lower grade equipment, specifically lenses, which are not ideal for most churches or even reception venues. I use professional grade Nikon camera bodies and lenses that are designed to create the highest quality photographs even when lighting is not adequate. The lenses I use create extremely sharp and vivid images at full resolution. If you are paying for a professional photographer you should expect professional equipment and professional results. At this time I provide my wedding photography services as a stand alone photographer. A second photographer is usually not necessary at most weddings as any professional photographer should know what they are doing and be capable of delivering the results you expect. I have seen instances where photographers try to deliver a sales pitch based upon two photographers being much better. Often when I see two photographers photographing a wedding the equipment being used is often entry level equipment. Needless to say, you are better off having one photographer that devotes the entire day to you, your friends and your family and has the proper equipment and knowledge to provide you with the results you want. I almost prefer if you provide some examples of the type of style of photography that you and your fiance like. I have my own style of photographing a wedding which some of my clients like, but every single person has their own taste when it comes to photography and what I may think looks great you might think otherwise of. That being said, if you want to supply me with examples that you would like to see happen during your wedding day, then please feel free to do so. I offer all my clients a $100.00 printing credit for each client that they refer to me. This credit can be applied towards any of the printing services I offer including printing on fine art paper such as velvet, satin and canvas. The editing I do to photographs after your wedding day is concluded are rather in depth and time consuming to say the least. The first step I take is to remove facial blemishes from faces in pictures. This includes things such as acne, scars, and birth marks. The next step is to apply a variety of different special effects to photographs to attain an artistic look select photos. I am able to soften skin tones, create selective colored images, half sepia toning, and a variety of vignetting effects. The list of effects that I will apply to your photographs is very in depth and something I explain to all my clients during your consultation. I provide these effects to photos to make them look truly amazing. All clients are provided both originals and the edited photographs since each person has their own specific photographic taste this ensures that you will be satisfied with the look of your photographs. |
